Aussie Diesel Services Ltd. is a family-owned, award-winning marine diesel repair shop located in Port McNeill, BC. We’re proud to serve Northern Vancouver Island with high-quality, reliable service—and we’re looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team.
Position: Full-Time Heavy Duty Marine Mechanic
Location: Port McNeill, BC
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines and systems (Cummins, Volvo Penta, Detroit, Isuzu, Yanmar, etc.)
- Perform routine servicing, engine rebuilds, repowers, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
- Work both in-shop and on-site (including remote camp locations or marina docks)
- Maintain clear communication with customers and team members
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (or Marine Engine Mechanic) certification preferred
- Experience with marine diesel systems an asset
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum)
